THURSDAY MORNING 27th JULY MEETING THE NEW HIGH COMMISSIONER TO MALAWI

The Missions team had an introductory meeting with Zambia’s new High Commissioner to Malawi, His Excellency Dr. John Phiri. He has been at the mission for two months. It was a fruitful time and he was very glad to meet the Missions team. In this meeting they addressed a number of things to do with how CCWC Lilongwe can progress. The Missions team gave him an understanding of the CCMI Missions statement and why the Ministry is called to only Capital Cities. At the hearing of this he was glad and well informed because he couldn’t understand why such a powerful church with such a powerful message was only found in the Capital City.

The High Commissioner was quick to mention to the delight of the Missions team, that he is a faithful viewer of Capital Impact on CAN TV. Glory to God! At the end of the meeting emails were exchanged and the High Commissioner requested for a word of prayer. He was so touched and encouraged by the prayer that he blessed the church with MWK 5000.00.
